I wanted to find my own personal way to give back to our healthcare heroes... The people on the front lines of the pandemic who are risking their lives every single day to keep us safe.
I'm giving what I can personally, now I'm doing my part professionally. Beginning this Saturday, I'll be launching my first Instagram live series... Creating custom illustrations of our healthcare heroes.
Every Saturday, join me as we walk through the illustration process live -- I'll be teaching you how my custom illustration process works... You'll be with me every step of the way, following along and creating your own custom sketch of the healthcare hero you want to recognize!
To kick this off, I'm asking for photo submissions of the valued healthcare heroes in your lives. Whether it's an ER nurse with a birthday approaching, a doctor who's wedding just happened (or was put on hold), an intern, a support staff member... Whoever you think deserves a custom sketch because he or she is risking their life! (And btw, THEY ALL DESERVE A SKETCH... So, the weekly winners will be chosen at random.)
Please send me: 1. a head-to-toe photo of your nominee 2. a brief description of why you specifically chose them (because they're all wonderful.) 3. your nominee's mailing address. 4. your nominee’s IG handle, should you wish to tag them. (If they have one, it’s not required.)
I will select six (6) submissions at random that will be sketched on my Instagram live (@brooklit)
